Resolutions

I don’t normally make New Year’s resolutions, but I had several ideas that had been building in my head these last couple weeks. Here are a few of them:
Home
+ Update our dining chairs (I’m obsessed with these)
+ Create a gallery wall
+ Make a chalkboard out of an old mirror
+ Find and style a bar cart

Personal
+ Workout 4-5 times a week
+ Drink (closer to) 8 glasses of water a day
+ Take vitamins everyday
+ Read a few books a month
+ Be more bold about wearing lipstick and heels
What are some of your 2012 resolutions?

A New Year

A few 2011 highlights:

Spring: We started our marriage on the west coast after a long-distance beginning. We toured the Getty Museum, got to spend a day in Disneyland, worked on some projects on our home (our dresser and our chairs), celebrated our birthdays (my 23rd with the best birthday gift ev).

Summer: We celebrated Ev’s marriage with her shower and then wedding.  Celebrated the Fourth of July with a hike and a baseball game,  went on a golf date, took a day trip to San Diego and we welcomed baby June into the world.

Fall: We celebrated one year of marriage and took an anniversary trip to Chicago. We got to take trips to  San Francisco and then New York City. I posted one of my most popular posts to date, my latest eBay finds.

Winter: I hosted my first guest blogger and updated the look of my blog, finally joined Pinterest, and we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas with friends and family.

Thank you so much for all of your support on my blog throughout the year!
Looking forward to an exciting 2012.

Merry Merry

We’re packing up and heading to Annapolis to visit with my family over the holidays!
I’ll be taking a blogging break, but I’ll see you in 2012.
Have a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Gallery Wall

I’ve been collecting art and frames for a future gallery wall for our apartment. I still can’t decide which route I want to take — black and white? Color? Here are some recent images I’ve pinned for inspiration.

I’m loving Etsy as an artwork resource (love this shop) and I’ve recently found Society6 which has really affordable pieces (obsessed with this and this).
Any gallery wall advice? What are some other inexpensive artwork resources? Any Etsy favorites?
