Lately

A few pictures from my iPhone camera roll of life lately – pretty summer light, Suki’s first haircut, delicious ramen in Soho, and organising and collecting pieces for the seasons changing. I’m loving shopping vintage – both locally around London and via Etsy and Instagram. I love the hunt of finding beautiful pieces that you know will be one of a kind and doing my little part in being more sustainably conscious with less fast fashion!

Lately {In Blue}

{An unintentionally blue-themed collection of what’s on my camera roll lately. }

01 & 04 // A trip to the seaside as lockdown begins to ease here in the UK. It was so nice to get out of the city and felt so free being out! We’re hoping to go on a little vacation in a few months, but more on that later.

02// Loving summer sunsets. Wearing a Zara dress and Ray-Ban sunglasses.

03 // Another summer dress I’m loving, the cutest zodiac pattern from Realisation.

05 // After spotting this blanket on Pinterest I had to do some hardcore investigating to find it but finally found it here. I love it, it’s almost like a Matisse painting on a blanket, such a classic, lovely piece for the home.

Lockdown Diaries

A few snaps of life lately, staying home and trying to maintain structure and stay connected with everyone. I’m luckily still working, adding in bits of yoga and pilates and baking (are you even in lockdown if you haven’t made banana bread)?

  1. We’ve had such sunny weather which is lovely for our walks, but makes it tricky to be inside. Loving the light in the flat.
  2. I’m doing tons of face masks and skincare treatments with the extra time I have. These face masks are a favourite and regular re-purchase of mine.
  3. So many sweatsuits, t-shirts, and if I am wearing a bra it’s a super cozy bralette. I’m obsessed with everything SKIMS, they have the most comfortable underwear and covers all sizes and skin tones. Living in this one at the moment.
  4. Appreciating things I might normally look past in my daily walk/run/exercise outdoors. So many exciting things to come when this is all over.
  5. Also experimenting with lots of cooking, this is a vegetarian eggplant pasta dish. On my weekly recipe rota.
  6. Hair masking has become a more regular thing too – this mask is so affordable and smells amazing. I put it in at night and wake up with the softest hair

A few things inspiring me lately:

ONE // I really want a plaid blazer/coat for fall, it’s such a timeless look. Here has a super affordable one, love it paired with a sweater like these or these.

TWO // Huge, leafy plants are my thing. I love Patch and Columbia Road Flower market for London plant shopping. I’d have a whole jungle in my flat if I could!

THREE // This site is full of inspiration for chic, French interiors. I could spend hours on here!

FOUR // I’ve always liked lots of little ear piercings but I’m inspired to get tons of teeny hoops, I think it looks so cool! Here and here do the cutest hoop earrings.

ONE // I’ve been wanting this Matisse for ages and finally got it as an early Christmas present. I’m obsessed! It’s the one from Art.com, but it’s such good quality and looks incredible {I love the version with the scratches and marks in the background}. Now I need to figure out where to put it!

TWO // I’ve been wearing this sweater all winter – it’s so thick and cozy and the teal color is perfect.

THREE// One of our Moroccan finds – this gorgous salt stone lamp – it is massive and weighs about twenty pounds so we almost didn’t make it back it through airport security! It’s my new favorite piece and looks gorgeous all lit up, it has such a pretty glow.

FOUR// Another one of my favorite finds from the Moroccan markets, I was keeping my eye out for the perfect wedding blanket and as soon as I saw this one I was sold.

Hope you have a nice and relaxing Christmas! We are taking it easy this year, spending it in the countryside outside London.
