I love finding old images that I’ve saved for inspiration — I recently came across this image again and was reminded how much I love it. While it’s way too girly for anything I’d do in our home, I love certain elements of it — mostly that large-scale art. Something about it is so elegant and dramatic, and I love the placement over the sofa. The art was recently featured in Giuliana Rancic’s nursery, and one of my fave bloggers, Brooke, has it in her home too. Buy it here.

We’ve moved around several times during the two years that we’ve been married and I’m so excited to be in London where we know we’ll be in the same place for at least a few years. I’m so excited to decorate and already have tons of ideas on what I want to do — right now I’m planning a few art pieces that I want to place around our apartment.

No. 2 I love this bright piece by Nicole Cohen. The colors are perfect.
No. 3 I have this piece too — something about the shapes I love.
No. 4 I’ve had this one in my Etsy favorites for forever, it would love fabulous as a focus piece of art in a room.
No. 5 Anything in Leigh Viner’s Etsy shop is pretty much perf.
No. 6 I’m always a fan of beachy prints. Love this one by Christian Chaize.
I’m also considering a large photograph in the bathroom {depending on the size of the bathroom!} and of course some wedding + family photos.

One of the things we’ll be getting for our London flat {aah!} is new bedding. I love the look of all white, like a hotel. I’m looking for good quality, super soft, ones that won’t pill, and won’t wrinkle. What are your favorite sheets? Right now I have my eye on these but I’d love to hear your thoughts!
