Visit Home

A visit home means lots of family time and doing not-so-serious photo shoot with my sisters (Mel, photographer, Amanda, stylist) which turned into something really fun so I thought I’d share. Melanie is such a good photographer and Amanda happens to own a few chickens so it worked out perfectly for an all-American shoot. It was fun wearing something I wouldn’t wear to my day-to-day corporate London job, and I wore this out with sisters and friends to a gig.

I’m wearing Anthropologie overalls, a crop top by Asos, Janessa Leone hat, Daniel Wellington watch, and a Gorjana necklace.

I spotted this little paper bag on a few French sites I like to read* {like Inside Closet and The Socialite Family} and thought it was such a nice detail – I love anything with a good graphic font! I’ve seen it used in nurseries for toys, on desks to hold craft supplies, styled with elegant books, and my personal favorite: used as a planter for leafy greens. You can purchase Le Sac En Papier here.

*I can’t read French, I just look at the pictures!

Black & White

backwhite

01. Topshop Blouse | 02. Brixton Hat | 03. Byredo Candle | 04. Apiece Apart Sweater| 05. Isa Tapia Flats | 06. Meli Melo Bag | 07. Le Sac en Papier | 08. Reverie Milk | 09. Reverie Cake

I will always be drawn to the timelessness of black and white – and even more so as the temps start cooling down and the weather turns more grey {at least in London}. I’m loving the two tops here and will be adding them to my rotation  – the fringe on the Apiece Apart sweater is my favorite.

One of my go-to pieces for autumn – ankle boots that go with everything. I have a few pairs (in many different neutral colors and styles!) – here are a few of my favorites for this season.

A few snaps of life lately:
01. I’m loving my new crossbody that I found for a steal at Vestiaire Collective. Still one of my fave places to shop – all my best pieces in my wardrobe are from there! PS: Speaking of bags, there’s a huge 20% off classic bags sale here.
02. We had breakfast at No. 11 and the food was actually gross and cold but it still looked pretty.
03. I’ll never get tired of these cute little houses with pretty painted doors and perfectly manicured shrubs.
04. I’ve been using this dry oil and loving it – it’s the perfect way to enhance your tan. And it smells like the beach!
05. Loving off the shoulder tops and this one is super comfy.

Hope you’re having a great week!
