Does anyone have any experience with velvet sofas? I’m looking for something dark (LOVE navy!) and that won’t show every single fuzz and crumb. I think the look of a navy velvet sofa is so elegant but practical is important, too!

So funny I am seriously considering recovering my wingback chairs in a dark navy! I love the look would be fabulous on a couch!
Love love velvet! A sofa like this would be a dream.:)
I do have a velvet head board in my bed though. It gets dusty and you do have to vacuum it at least once every two weeks. But it’s so worthy it.:)

We have a dark plum velvet ottoman, and it’s not too bad – we also have a black and white cat, and at worst we just have to vacuum it every so often.
Yes – I had a dark chocolate velvet sofa before we purchased our new sectional, and I loved it – I had it for 4 years and it stayed looking brand new and super simple to clean! Love the navy!

I love this look too and navy is so timeless and chic!! I’ve only heard good things about velvet upholstery as long as you don’t get the kind that shows your butt marks once you get up off the couch! haha
