Antique Finds

Along with my chalkboard frame, here are a few things I found while antiquing with my mom and sisters.
01. A milk glass assortment.
02. Brass desk lamp {love the green shade}.
03 + 04. A full set of hand-painted gold china. I want to pair them up with this West Elm dinnerware to make it a mix of modern and classic. This set was $10! Such a steal.
05. Copper tea kettle. I want to eventually have a collection of all copper pots and pans. This is a start!
06. A bar cart! Finally! Spotted this in the corner of a teensy antique store and I’m obsessed.
Have you found anything good while out thrifting/antiquing lately? Do tell!

  1. great finds! i am obsesed with milk glass and look for it everytime i’m out and about “picking” as we like to call it since we watch american pickers and picker sisters. and that bar cart is awesome! we recently scored an old dresser that we turned into a tv console and a vintage cake stand. when my husband and i retire we totally want to travel the US, picking!

  2. Gorgeous milk glass, Natalie! We’re doing a shoot in a few days w/ a bit of that in it and it’s like my favourite part! I also love that copper kettle! I keep meaning to get a nice one, b/c we always have ours sitting out and it’s not exactly cute!!

  3. Wow! You hit the jackpot at the antique stores! I saw a similar bar cart at a local store here and completely regret not buying it. I can’t wait to see how you style it.

PS: Thank-you so much for the jean brand tip. Can’t wait to clear out my closet.
