Wednesday Loves

I wanted to share a few of my recent purchases that I’m loving. The swimsuit and fedora are my favorite warmer weather finds and I’m envisioning using both during weekend European getaways once we move. ;)
I’ve been wanting to reduce the amount of product I use on my hair and skin and get my routine down to just a few good quality products. These oils have been perfect for that — the Rodin makes my hair super silky and it has the most gorgeous bottle that’s so pretty to display. The Argan oil is one of my favorites {and I’m such a Josie Maran fan}.
And lastly, two fun items for our flat: A piece of art by Leigh Viner and a pillow from Arianna Belle’s perfectly curated shop. {I got a long pillow, with piping as an accent for the bed.}
What are some of your recent favorites?

London, We Love You

We’re back from our quick visit to London and we already can’t wait to get back. I feel so lucky to soon be calling London home. We barely tapped into all the things you can do in the city but highlights included afternoon teas at The Orangery at Kensington Palace and Selfridges, a trip to Harrods {so amazing!}, the British Museum, eating at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants, and of course seeing Big Ben. I’m so excited to find our flat and have a little space in the city that we can call ours.

Fur for the Bed

I’ve started noticing a theme in my bedrooms I’ve been pinning: most all of them had a {faux} fur blanket at the bottom of the bed. I’ve mentioned before {here and here} we are investing in a new bed and bedding once we move, and I think a faux fur would be a great way to add texture to the room. Right now I’m thinking:
I’ll be updating with my progress!

Jet-Setting

We are headed to London for a quick visit today! M’s company is hosting us and we’re so excited for a quick European vacation. I haven’t been to Europe since high school and I have major butterflies {although I’m a little nervous about the super long flight and super crazy time difference. We’ll probably adjust to the jetlag just in time for our flight back on Sunday!}
So, sell us on London. What should we see and do while we’re there? I know we’ll have plenty of time to do everything after we move there, but we want to enjoy the city and get a good feel of what it will be like.
I have a few posts scheduled and will be back next week with a full re-cap! In the meantime feel free to follow along on Twitter and Instagram
