Here are a few things I’ve been eyeing around the web lately — pretty tanks {how gorgeous is that one by 10 Crosby Derek Lam?}, easy, layerable jewelry, and I’m dying to try that surf mousse.

The jewelry is from Brooklyn retailer Uncommon Goods — they specialize in unique pieces from artists and designers and many of the pieces are handmade. They’re a perfect destination for one-of-a-kind gifts, {hello, Mother’s Day!} and their selection is fantastic {I’m also loving some of their things for entertaining: like  these agate coasters and this granite cheese board}.

P.S. In case you missed it, I posted on Kirby and Alexa’s blog on Monday all about my perfect Sunday. I love this series they’re running! Check out the post here.

Also, in case you missed it, Shopbop is having a 25% off everything sale! Shop my picks here.

Welcome to the New NM

updateThe new NM is live! Thanks for your patience while the site was undergoing the re-design and the big switch over to WordPress. The new site has been a long time coming, and I’m so happy and relieved that it’s finally here. Make sure you’re subscribed via Bloglovin, or you can hit “Subscribe to NM” at the top of this page to get posts delivered right into your inbox. I’m sure the switch won’t be without a few hiccups here and there, so bear with me as I adjust to WordPress! Huge thank you to Amanda, who did an absolutely fab job with my vision for the site.

As always, thanks for following along.

Warmer Weather

Some of my favorite items lately as the weather warms up — loving anything Schutz right now and Tibi‘s Spring collection has the prettiest colors. Also, the new issue of Porter is out and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Almond Oat Banana Nutella Crepes

I made these over the weekend and they are delicious — a version of crepes that doesn’t have crazy amounts of calories and sugar! It was my first time making crepes and they weren’t as hard as I imagined. I’ll definitely be making these again!

Ingredients

+ ½ cup almond meal
+ ½ cup old fashioned oats
+ 3 tablespoons all purpose flour

+ 1 cup milk

+ 1 egg
+ ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
+ 1 tablespoon brown sugar
+  pinch of salt
+ 4 bananas, sliced
+ 2 tablespoons Nutella, melted

Directions

Place the oats and almond meal in a food processor. Grind for 30 seconds or until a flour-like substance forms. There should be about 1 cup of this mixture.

Transfer to a large mixing bowl. Add the milk, egg, vanilla, brown sugar, and salt. Whisk for 20 seconds or until smooth and incorporated.

Heat a large nonstick skillet over low heat. Pour about ¼ cup batter onto the pan. Carefully swirl the batter around the pan once to spread the batter out for a larger, more thin crepe. Cook until the edges of the crepe come up easily with a spatula. Carefully loosen the crepe around the edges and then inward to the center until the crepe releases from the pan; remove and set aside. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Stuff the crepes with sliced bananas and Nutella. Drizzle with melted Nutella and serve warm.

Plates and flatware are from West Elm.
