I ‘m so inspired by these images — I love the idea of using a vintage card catalog as a console table {I’d love one as a TV console}. Keeping my eye out on Craigslist for the perfect one.
That’s a great idea! Plus, i’m imagining all the little things (remotes, videos, games, etc) that could be stored. I hope to see a picture if you find one!
There is so much character in these card catalogs! As an avid reader and a lover of a library, I adore card catalogs as furniture. Hoping you find the perfect one! :)

Oh too fun and gorgeous! I do hope you find one. I’ve always wanted one of those (don’t even know the proper term) vintage mail box cubbies. Well, good luck
Natalie – I love this post! We currently have an old card catalog sitting in our garage, just waiting to be redone for this very purpose! Your post has been a great inspiration, and a little push to get started. :) cheryl
These are bananas. Love them! All of drawers would make for a long repainting/sanding but it would be work it. One would be lovely in an entry way too!

So much history in these pieces. Reminds me of the days when people actually went to libraries to read. Love this so much.
