After a little elbow grease, Matt and I were able to transform our little Craigslist dresser. It was such a fun project to do together, and really rewarding too! Down the road I may paint the trim and the detail a different color, but for now, it works perfectly for us. :)

That is such a great Craigslist find! You all did a great job painting it, too! Are you going to do a post to share the painting process?

GORGEOUS! It looks like you bought it from Pottery Barn or West Elm!
love the white :) you did a great job!
Lately, I’ve been loving gold! This is fabulous!
LR- I should do a post to share the painting process, unfortunately we didn’t take too many interesting pictures in our “during” phase. We sanded down the dresser with a course, then fine sanding block (an electric sander would have been much easier but since we’re in a rental apartment and did everything inside, the sanding blocks were better). We then did two coats of primer and two coats of paint, and replaced the hardware. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask here or email me!
Thanks, everyone for your encouraging comments!
