A New Year

A few 2011 highlights:

Spring: We started our marriage on the west coast after a long-distance beginning. We toured the Getty Museum, got to spend a day in Disneyland, worked on some projects on our home (our dresser and our chairs), celebrated our birthdays (my 23rd with the best birthday gift ev).

Summer: We celebrated Ev’s marriage with her shower and then wedding.  Celebrated the Fourth of July with a hike and a baseball game,  went on a golf date, took a day trip to San Diego and we welcomed baby June into the world.

Fall: We celebrated one year of marriage and took an anniversary trip to Chicago. We got to take trips to  San Francisco and then New York City. I posted one of my most popular posts to date, my latest eBay finds.

Winter: I hosted my first guest blogger and updated the look of my blog, finally joined Pinterest, and we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas with friends and family.

Thank you so much for all of your support on my blog throughout the year!
Looking forward to an exciting 2012.

Merry Merry

We’re packing up and heading to Annapolis to visit with my family over the holidays!
I’ll be taking a blogging break, but I’ll see you in 2012.
Have a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanksgiving + Lately

01. I was in charge of the pies for our Thanksgiving. I made the traditional apple and pumpkin and thankfully they were a hit.
02. Sunday we went in search of our perfect tree. We found a beautiful eight-foot Frasier fir (so nice to have a tall tree compared to our mini one last year).
03. Any excuse to wear my favorite Hunters.
04. Finally started a fire in our fireplace. So cozy.
05. New colors.

And currently: Listening to Bing Crosby Holiday on Pandora, ordering Christmas cards, trimming the tree, and anticipating our visit back to the east coast for the holidays.

Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful!
