February Favorites

I’m personally over the red and pink themed Valentine’s Day clothing and decor — I’m way more into feminine and subtly sexy for February. I’m in major need of a new black blazer {my current one is a $10 eBay find} and I’m eyeing a few from Theory and Helmut Lang. I also just ordered that turtleneck {side note: I’m always so embarrassed when a NastyGal package comes for me at work — I swear it’s not what it looks like!} and I’m excited to wear it with some black denim to channel my inner Parisian.

Lately

A few pictures that I’ve been collecting on my iPhone – little snippets of adventures and things that I’m loving lately.

01. I found this gem across the street from my office. I pass it almost every day and one day the pink bicycle caught my eye. Such a pretty corner of London.
02. Weekends are for comfy clothes. {Jeans are Rag & Bone, top is old Zara but Only Hearts, Eberyjey, and Commando make super similar ones}.
03. A weekend away in Kent – England has the prettiest old castles and manors – it’s so surreal sometimes. I’m wearing a hat by Janessa Leone, one of my absolute favorite hat designers. Coat is by Mackage.
04. Gorgeous castle in Kent.
05. My favorite hand soap at the moment, by Aesop. It has little beads that scrub off dry skin and it’s perfect followed by my favorite Aesop moisturizer.

This is my ideal outfit for casual days – easy, comfortable layers {and comfortable sneakers to run around in}. The Helmut Lang leggings are a must and I’ve been loving Reece Hudson lately. I also have a million of those v-neck tees by Madewell and wear them all the time.

Happy Wednesday!

I’d like to say that I’m thinking about Springtime, pastels, and wearing more color, but winter in London isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. It’s a perfect excuse to bundle up in thick-knit sweaters and layers {which I’m not complaining about!} and this sweater and coat have been on heavy rotation lately.

I wanted to share a few images from my phone from life lately. It’s been super busy and hectic but Christmas in London is magic and I’ve finally been able to slow down and relax. I’ll be heading home for a short visit over Christmas and the New Year. I can’t WAIT! Merry Christmas to you and yours.
