One of our reasons for moving to the UK was to travel the world as much as we possibly could — there are so many incredible places so close to us here that it’d be such a waste not to! We’ve officially booked our first trip, we’ll be spending a week in August in la ville de l’amour {did I say that right?} for our three year {three year? Woah!} anniversary. To say that I’m excited would be an understatement! We’re just now starting to plan everything we want to do and that’s where I need your help. Where are your favorite spots in Paris? I’d love to hear!
you must get macarons and hot chocolate at Angelina. And Le Coupe Chou is an incredibly romantic and delicious French restaurant. Other than that, the usual sights of course! Don’t miss the Sacre Coeur and strolling in the Saint Germain. Have so much fun! Even after four trips to Paris there is still so much to see, you will have an amazing time!!
And P.S. I feel ya on the 3 year anniversary — ours is creeping up August 7th and I really can’t believe it! Congrats :)
When will you be there in August? My husband and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary in Paris in August too! Great minds think alike I suppose. :) I hope you have a fabulous time and I know we are looking forward to strolling in the Parc de Buttes Chaumont and seeing outdoor French movies at the Parc de Villete!:)
Ohhh so exciting Natalie!!
Ahh! What week in August? We are going to be there the last week!
Oh Paris – the perfect place for an anniversary celebration. I just celebrated my 30th birthday at Versailles and it was lovely :)
I wish I could help, but I’ve never been. Wow, what a cool 3rd Anniversary present. We are hoping to make it to Italy next year which would be in time for our 3rd Anniversary:)
Congrats, my friend. I hope you have such a dreamy time.
XO,Gina

That is so awesome!
I have to second the chocolat chaude at Angelina’s…maybe the same day you go to Laduree, so you can just be in the most spectacular sugar shock of life, haha! I’d also recommend getting falafel from the famous cart in the Marais. A few people recommended it to me, and it was SO worth the wait in line. Have so much fun!

OMG so many good spots in Paris! Angelina’s for hot chocolate. The Petit Prince for dinner, Montmarte for strolling…you are going to love it
You must go to Merci!
It is beyond! We spent hours in there.
I’m going in October again and cannot wait!
Have fun x
I don’t know how I missed you moving to London, but I’m so excited for you guys! Looking forward to following the journey and living vicariously through you. I’m dying to take a Europe trip next year so I’m heading your way when I need recommendations! :)
