Healthy Hair – an Update!

In previous years I’ve made hair health a priority, but really focussed on products which conditioned and nourished. While those are still so important, I have been prioritising scalp health and growth, all which lead to healthy, happy hair! I thought I would update on a few products that have changed my hair quality and have brought growth and crazy good results.

A recent picture of my hair after a cut – I’m so pleased with the health and length, my hair dresser couldn’t believe it. (Also, do I spot a grey hair?!)

This Gro Hair serum from Vegamour, along with the scalp massager have made the biggest impact to my hair in recent months. I use both (almost) daily and have seen tons of new baby hairs coming in, which are all finally starting to lengthen and add so much thickness to my hair. The quality of the new hairs has been amazing too. I add a few drops of the serum to my scalp and lightly massage in with the massager. I do this at night before bed. Game changer!

The other thing I’ve been doing is a scalp scrub in the shower. There are so many on the market and I’ve tried the really high-end ones, but keep going back to this super affordable one from Amazon.

Lastly, I’ve been trying to be kinder to my hair with washing it less, using far less heat, and making sure to use silk scrunchies and pillowcases. The add-on impact of this has been so positive!

Jewellery Stacking

I don’t know about you, but whenever I see someone who’s style I admire I’m always checking out what jewellery and accessories they’re wearing. Investment accessories can totally make an outfit go from ok to wow. I truly believe that accessories are something you should build slowly over time, taking care in selecting each piece and picking capsule pieces you know you can wear easily with everything that add that wow factor. Here are a few themes I’ve noticed in elevating your accessory look:

Add some colour. A ring like a Toi & Moi ring is a gorgeous way to add a colourful stone (use your or a loved one’s birthstone!)

Add a watch. It doesn’t have to be expensive, and I love looking at vintage markets for vintage watches with unique chain links or delicate features. I have a vintage Gucci watch that I wear all the time, and I’ve been eyeing this brand for second-hand watches lately!

Mix silver & gold. This is obviously personal preference, but I like the idea of not sticking to one metal and mixing to add variety and interest. A ring like this is the perfect way to tie everything in!

Mix vintage & new. Some of the vintage styles you just can’t beat and it’s crucial for that unique ‘where did you get that?!’ look. If you’re in London, I love the markets in Brick Lane and Notting Hill for gorgeous, unique, affordable pieces to stack and layer.

Toi et Moi ring

A few classic items that I’m loving lately for transition dressing:

  • You can’t go wrong with a classic faux leather jacket that looks way more expensive than it is – instantly ordered that one!
  • The crossbody bag looks like such a statement piece without being loud. And it’s on major sale!
  • I absolutely love the toi & moi ring at an affordable price from a gorgeous brand (and currently has 25% off everything). I have a few earrings from Aurate and the quality is impeccable.
  • The chocolate brown silk dress is such a great piece for any season, and from a stunning Australian brand (why do Australian brands always have the most unique pieces?)
  • Lastly, I’m loving the cashmere tops that are perfect for layering and come in tons of colours.

What pieces do you have your eye on lately? I’d love to hear!

Vacation Finds

Black swimsuit | Copper dress | Sunglasses | Bracelet | Gold dress | Straw bag | Straw sandals | Blue swimsuit

I’m loving rich colors for building a vacation wardrobe, all the one pieces, and woven details. This year I’m heading to Egypt and Italy for a friend’s wedding festivities, planning all the outfits is one of the most fun parts! What are you shopping for Spring/Summer?

All good things must come to an end and this is my last partnered post with Shopbop. Thanks to Shopbop for an incredible ten years of partnership. x

Latest Obsessions

A few {very random selection of} things I’m loving lately!

Thrifting // Pictured above – a latest thrift store find that I absolutely love. I will say that thrifting isn’t as good in the UK as it is int he US, but, knowing where to go and going frequently are key. I’m always on the lookout for special pieces for the home. I’ve been loving Eileen’s posts on her thrift finds in France – she finds the best stuff!

Pastel suits // I spotted Tasmin in this lavender suit from & Other Stories and I fell in love. I need it now, and a place to wear it!

Foodie TikTok accounts // Loving this one at the moment, it’s given me so many recipe ideas!

Cut-out dresses // Loving this gorgeous brand after spotting a few of these dresses in Selfridges the other day {also obsessed with all their bags}.
